Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our clients with on-site fleet maintenance. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer locations, ensuring quick, reliable service.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of Class 7/8 technician experience and CDL is preferred. Join a leader in commercial vehicle dealerships and grow with a nationwide support network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections as assigned.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform daily duties.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and open work schedule.
• Diagnose, remove and replace components as needed and document work performed.
• Use diagnostic equipment to determine malfunctions and perform correct repairs.
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs and future recommendations.
