Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Mechanic/Technician to service fleets on-site across our national network from Gilbert, AZ. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light through medium-duty vehicles, with opportunities for emergency roadside work.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with mobile apps and digital tools.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools.
• Ready for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Independent, dependable, and self-motivated with safety mindset.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and valid license.
• Bring your own hand tools; company provides rest of toolkit.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems in light/medium-duty vehicles.
• Use handheld computers and diagnostic tools to identify and fix issues quickly.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with trusted vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.
