Job summary

Sound is hiring for a Mobile Crisis Mental Health Professional (MHP) and case managers to provide immediate behavioral health support in the community via a mobile crisis unit. You will assess crises, intervene, and connect clients to follow-up resources, working closely with law enforcement and EMS.

Responsibilities include crisis assessment, stabilization, safety planning, and documentation in HIPAA-compliant systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• WA State Agency Affiliated Counselor credential within the first 60 days of hire.
• Active MHP-qualifying credential with DOH (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT or assoc.)

Responsibilities

• Crisis assessment and intervention.
• Crisis stabilization and immediate therapeutic support.
• Safety planning and referrals for follow-up services.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, EMS, and community resources.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation of assessments and plans.
• Facilitate referrals to behavioral health and social services.
• Participate in community outreach and education programs.
• Provide training/mentorship to interns or new staff.
• Respect and address diversity, equity, inclusion in crisis interventions.
