Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Project Coordinator for our Mining team to work on-site at a mine. You will collaborate with field teams to ensure safe, efficient operations and maintain daily progress across multi-phase projects.

The role focuses on real-time coordination, planning, and documentation support, requiring hands-on field presence and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Travel and on-site commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in field engineering, project coordination, or similar in mining
• Experience supporting multi-phase mining or resource-sector projects
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in engineering, construction management, mining technology, or related field

Responsibilities

• Interpret mine plans, drawings, and specs to support field supervisors and crews
• Perform quantity calculations, production tracking, and daily progress reporting
• Assist in developing shift plans, work packages, and sequencing for mine-site activities
• Support surveying and layout tasks, including control points and as-built data collection
• Compile daily labor timesheets, production logs, and reports
• Participate in safety reviews, toolbox talks, and mine-site safety meetings
• Coordinate and schedule materials, consumables, and equipment to meet timelines
• Assist with organizing crews, equipment, and work-area logistics
• Provide oversight and coordination support to field operations and contractor activities
• Perform basic engineering calculations and assist with technical documentation and drafting
