Qualifications

• Five years’ minimum experience working on heavy equipment.
• Experience in a Caterpillar environment with hydraulic, engine and power train preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, removes, installs, disassembles, and assembles heavy equipment and components.
• Provides technical leadership, mentoring, troubleshooting assistance, and safe work guidance to technicians.
• Coordinates service calls with the Field Service Supervisor and assists technicians on complex repairs.
• Maintains a minimum of 75% billable time on revenue-generating work.
• Prepares accurate service reports and ensures safety policies are followed.
