The MEP Project Engineer supports the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing package and reports to the MEP Project Manager. The role runs the document flow for the package, including submittals, requests for information, and shop drawing coordination, and carries a significant share of the commissioning documentation, from

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent field.
• 2–5 years supporting mechanical and electrical scope; mission critical exposure preferred.
• Able to trace one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and equipment schedules.
• Has supported commissioning documentation and startup activities.
• Detail-driven with strong log management and timely responses.
• Proficient in document control platforms and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manages submittal process for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing packages with logging and tracking.
• Prepares, tracks, and closes RFIs with disciplined turnaround.
• Coordinates shop drawings and equipment submittals against diagrams and schedules.
• Supports MEP coordination and clash resolution with modeling team and trade partners.
• Assembles and tracks commissioning documentation and logs to closure.
• Tracks long lead equipment procurement and delivery dates against the schedule.
• Maintains document control, drawings, revisions, and project records.
• Supports cost tracking, change documentation, and monthly reporting for MEP package.
• Assists with project closeout, O&M manuals, warranties, and training docs.
