Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator and Medical Assistant for our TPP Gastroenterology practice in Cincinnati, OH. This on-site role blends clerical scheduling with hands-on clinical care across multiple departments and sites.

Ideal candidates have a medical background, perform EKGs, injections, venipuncture, and CLIA‑guided lab tasks, and excel in patient communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Cincinnati-Dayton, Ohio, Northern Kentucky or Eastern Indiana.
• On-site role with no remote work.
• Experience in medical/physician office setting.
• Ability to perform EKG, injections, venipuncture and basic CLIA lab tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduling for specialist and routine appointments across multiple providers and sites.
• Coordinates scheduling within nursing, transportation and therapy at three sites.
• Follows scheduling procedures and completes paperwork accurately and timely.
• Communicates with customers and other departments; demonstrates strong customer service.
• Assists physicians in examination and treatment; performs delegated duties.
• Interviews patients, records vital signs, and prepares treatment rooms.
• Cross-trains to support efficiency and continuity of patient care.
• Maintains medical records and safety/environmental duties.
