Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED required.
• Typing and basic word processing skills.
• Minimum one year in a customer service setting.
• Prefer receptionist experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.

• Ability to operate office equipment (phone, computer).
• Customer service focus and pleasant demeanor.
• Ability to organize, multi-task, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a polite, prompt manner.

• Update patient data, insurance info, and collect balances.
• Assist with scheduling, testing, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean waiting area and assist with office tasks.
• Process paperwork and generate billing information from the system.
• Coordinate patient movement and relay messages to staff.
• Support HIPAA and OSHA compliance in daily tasks.
• Attend meetings and assist in equipment upkeep as needed.
