Job summary

Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service sterilization equipment in Akron, OH and surrounding hospitals. The role emphasizes installation, maintenance and customer support in a highly autonomous environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with sales and education teams. Travel is local/regional with occasional overnight stays, and on-call weekend coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in field service environment in electronics or medical device industry.
• Alternatively, minimum 3 years as Biomedical Engineer in a hospital setting.
• Strong customer-facing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify ASP systems within the territory.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document service records.
• Schedule with customers and internal teams to plan technical work.
• Provide on-call emergency service and responsive support.
• Document actions in Siebel and manage RMAs for parts/equipment.
• Assist in design feedback to improve equipment efficiency or reduce costs.
• Guide hospital Biomed engineers and field technicians as needed.
