GILA INTERNAL MEDICINE & GERIATRICS is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinicians in Irvine, CA. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and MA certification (or eligibility) preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills when working with diverse patient populations.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately communicate and document clinical information.

Responsabilités

• Room patients, record vital signs, update medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist with basic clinical procedures and specimen collection; manage patient flow and provide clear test/follow-up instructions.
• Handle administrative duties: scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, answering phone inquiries, and coordinating referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and office staff to ensure efficient, respectful patient care.
