Job summary

Intralox, L.L.C. seeks an Engineer for the Commercial Test Group to advance testing of modular plastic belt systems and support test equipment design for prototype applications.

The role includes designing and setting up tests, generating reports, and providing 3D design support for sales. Travel 10–20% is required; teamwork with Account Managers, Tradeshow Team, and other groups is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or related engineering degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Goal oriented team player with a positive & proactive attitude, with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Hands on technical skills; tools, machinery, fasteners, etc.
• Equipment set up experience is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Suite) with exposure to 3D modeling software (Solidworks).
• Ability to travel approximately 10-20%, including weekends and holidays; mostly predictable and scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Support, develop and promote modular plastic belt through application specific testing.
• Achieve client requirements through theory, application, and use of Intralox product line.
• Test and set-up for customer visits.
• Support Account Managers in the selling and implementation of conveyance solutions.
• Generate reports reflecting significant test results and methodology.
• Provide 3D design support to sales teams for design of new test equipment and products for test/prototype applications.
• Maintenance of database of historical documentation of testing results.
• Support the Tradeshow Team with equipment design reviews, commissioning, FAT, testing, and tradeshow set-up/support.
• Test database maintenance of historical documentation for testing results.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies while on the production floor.
