Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Construction Site Material Manager to oversee procurement, delivery, storage and distribution of materials on active mechanical projects. You will ensure timely availability of pipe, ductwork, fittings, valves, insulation and fabrication components on site.

You will coordinate with project management, site supervision and vendors, maintain accurate inventory and on-site logistics, and support cost control by tracking waste and over-ordering while adhering to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or related coursework preferred.
• 3–5 years in material management or logistics for commercial/industrial mechanical projects.
• Experience with HVAC piping/plumbing systems.
• Experience with Procore, Viewpoint, CMiC or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Manage material handling and logistics for commercial mechanical projects.
• Coordinate deliveries to align with project timelines.
• Receive and verify materials for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain organized laydown areas and inventory control.
• Track usage, backorders, returns, and surplus items.
• Forecast material needs with foremen to prevent shortages.
