You will collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to develop new products and prototypes, support customer requirements, and improve designs and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Solid proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D/3D).
• GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) understanding.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with customers, Engineering, Sales and Production.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Infor CloudSuite) is a plus.
• Project management experience or exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 2D/3D designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and customer specs.
• Support projects from concept through prototyping, testing and production.
• Translate designs into manufacturing drawings, models, specs, and ERP routings.
• Review proposals to evaluate feasibility, cost, manufacturability and lead times.
• Prepare technical information for quotes, pricing and proposals.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to meet specs.
• Participate in prototype fabrication, assembly, testing, and design reviews.
• Work with Production Supervisors to troubleshoot production issues.
• Prepare and maintain drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Engineering and Production.
