Job summary

AtWork Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Design Engineer for mechanical/product development. This on-site role is a direct-hire opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will design and refine mechanical components, create CAD models and drawings, perform analyses, and work with manufacturing to ensure producible, high-quality solutions. Expect growth in high-performance engineered products across motorsports and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software; SolidWorks strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve mechanical products and systems.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Evaluate designs, conduct testing, and analyze results.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to support assembly and processes.
• Research materials and industry trends to enhance products.
