Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern in Montpelier, OH. The intern will assist staff in design, development, product knowledge, problem solving and technical support, while working on-site with the engineering, production and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering student, Sophomore level or above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with engineering, maintenance and contractors to complete projects.
• Assist engineering, maintenance or operations in gathering data, analyzing and drawing engineering conclusions.
• Assist in gathering information on standardization, new technologies and cost reduction ideas for capital expenditure requests.
• Compile technical documentation for equipment manuals, troubleshooting guides and maintenance job plans.
• All other duties as assigned.
