Job summary

Wieland is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern in Montpelier, OH to support design, development and technical staff with hands-on engineering tasks on-site.

The role emphasizes data gathering, project coordination with maintenance and contractors, and documentation for manuals and preventative maintenance. Candidates are mechanical engineering students with good communication and CAD skills, eligible to work in the US, and available for a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering student at sophomore level or above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• SolidWorks or AutoCAD preferred.
• Eligible to work in US (No Sponsorships Available).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with engineering, maintenance and contractors to complete projects
• Assist engineering, maintenance or operations in gathering data, analyzing and drawing engineering conclusions
• Assist in gathering information on standardization, new technologies and cost reduction ideas for capital expenditure requests
• Compile technical documentation for equipment manuals, troubleshooting guides and maintenance job plans
• All other duties as assigned

Wieland is hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern. The Mechanical Engineer Intern will be responsible for developing engineering capability in design, development, product knowledge, problem
solving and technical support while providing assistance to staff engineering, production and maintenance personnel.. This role is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $20.00-$22.00

Schedule: 8am-4pm Mon-Fri

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly

Responsibilities

Mechanical Engineer Intern Responsibilities:
