Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States, Columbia, SC, is hiring for an on-site team leader who drives lean initiatives, coaches others, and ensures safe, efficient production. This role leads MDI board meetings, assigns schedules, and coordinates overtime to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work with team members across departments, monitor product quality, troubleshoot issues, and support a strong safety culture.

• Completion of TLDP.

Responsibilities

• Leads MDI board meetings and other Lean-related activities
• Assigns work schedules and coordinates overtime
• Ensures the safety of employees and adherence to EHS requirements
• Monitors the quality of products and work
• Troubleshoots simple machine, process, product, or employee issues
• Leads and trains team leaders, provides feedback and coaching
• Frequently communicates with team members, supervisors, and across departments, and with plant leaders
• Coaches other team leaders
