Job summary

Ingersoll Rand, based onsite in West Chester, PA, seeks a Manager of Materials to own the flow of materials, inventory, and shop-floor execution in a high-velocity manufacturing setting. You will lead material planning, buyers/planners, and production scheduling, driving Lean improvements, KPI performance, and on-time delivery, while developing talent and aligning cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in materials management in Lean/MRP environment.
• 5+ years ERP experience (SAP, Oracle).
• 3+ years managerial experience standardizing planning & execution.
• 3+ years cross-functional alignment across operations, supply chain, and production planning teams.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a safety culture and implements safety policies per OSHA.
• Plans, orders, and manages storage of critical raw materials using SAP/MRP.
• Deploys strategic objectives into annual goals and KPIs across the organization.
• Plans material lifecycle and eliminates obsolete inventory.
• Develops employees through recruitment, training, coaching and goal setting.
• Develops a culture of daily management and problem solving using data and change processes.
• Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
