Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Manager, Materials to lead the flow of materials, inventory and execution in a fast-paced, just‑in‑time environment at the West Chester, PA site. You’ll manage material planning, buyer/planners, and production scheduling to ensure demand meets delivery in a high‑velocity operation.

This role drives plant performance through Lean and continuous improvement, owning warehouse operations, cycle counting, and inbound/outbound traffic with hands‑on leadership during

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years in materials management in lean manufacturing with MRP.
• 5+ years ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• 3+ years of managerial experience in planning and execution.
• 3+ years cross-functional alignment across operations, supply chain, and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Foster a safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Inventory Control: Plan, order, and manage storage of materials to meet master schedule.
• Strategy: Translate objectives into KPIs and daily/monthly routines.
• Product Lifecycle: Manage material lifecycle and obsolescence to reduce waste.
• Management: Develop employees through coaching and goal setting.
• Problem-solving culture: Drive a daily management approach and change leadership.
• Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
