Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the efficient flow of incoming materials to project sites. This role requires coordinating deliveries, staging, and safe offloading while supporting stock transfers and inspections.

The position demands strong planning, organization, and communication with construction teams, crane drivers, and health & safety staff. Site-based with potential after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience coordinating logistics operations.
• Experience in construction work plus store keeping is a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint internet-based principles.

Responsibilities

• Gather information about incoming deliveries and the needs of the construction teams.
• Coordinate/control staging of trucks and their movements on the production site.
• Coordinate the flow of material from arrival to site for usage by the construction teams or delivery to stock; minimize movements/picks and handling damages, maximize space utilization.
• Ensure that offloading is done safely and that material is properly placed.
• Provide input to the goods receipt process.
• Make and report results of incoming inspections.
