Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities, ensure compliance with drawings and RAMS, and drive safety, quality and schedule performance on our projects. The role requires active supervision of subcontractors, daily site briefings, and rigorous documentation.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of on-site construction oversight, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years on-site supervision experience in construction or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site supervision of all construction activities and subcontractor operations.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, RAMS and project specifications.
• Conduct daily site briefings and coordinate work sequencing with trades.
• Monitor site productivity, safety compliance and quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with Site H&S Coordinator to enforce safety protocols and close out observations.
• Maintain on-site records including permits to work, inspections, deliveries and progress logs.
• Identify and elevate risks, delays or deviations impacting cost, quality or schedule.
• Support the Site and Program Manager in managing site interfaces, logistics and client interactions.
• Verify installed works for compliance and support punch-list creation and close-out.
• Coordinate change-related impacts with Project Controls and Estimating/QS teams.
• Resolve and maintain punch/snag lists
