Job summary

BAE Systems in Aberdeen, SD is hiring a Manufacturing Tech II to join a high performance work team. You will safely fabricate and assemble parts, perform tests, and document results to ensure quality and cost targets are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a willingness to learn multiple processes in a fast-paced environment. First shifts are available, with a 4/10 schedule and OT on Fridays when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry level candidates who thrive in a team environment and are willing to learn multiple processes.
• Welding, machining, painting, mechanical and electrical assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely fabricates and assembles a quality product per procedures and drawings.
• Performs test procedures and documents to ensure a conforming product.
• Manages time effectively and works a flexible schedule.
• May participate in Team Leader, Safety, Quality, Administrative, Inventory, Supplies, or Maintenance roles.
