Job summary

Magee Technologies (MTech) is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly/Fabrication Technician to repair, fabricate, modify, assemble, install, integrate, and troubleshoot aerospace components. Work from engineering drawings, BOMs, and procedures in a fast-paced shop environment prioritizing quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, fabrication, or technician role.
• Experience with aerospace hardware, fabrication, assembly, and installation.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, scales, gauges).
• Experience operating general fabrication and machine-shop equipment (mills, drills, hand tools).
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions to accurately assemble and fabricate products.
• Perform mechanical assembly, fabrication, modification, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of components and subassemblies.
• Execute advanced fabrication and integration tasks on various aircraft and aerospace products.
• Fabricate and modify components using aerospace shop tooling and equipment.
• Operate fabrication equipment including mills, drill presses, and other shop machinery.
• Select proper tools and measuring instruments for tasks; conduct in-process and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory levels and document work performed; report defects or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality personnel, and team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
