Job summary

• Proven manufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, inventory, quality, staffing, and manufacturing workflows.
• Hands-on problem solver who works on the production floor.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with ERP/production systems and performance metrics.
• Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous improvement experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent manufacturing leadership experience welcomed.
• Small to mid-sized or family-owned manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing, scheduling, staffing, and workflow.
• Develop production employees with clear expectations and accountability.
• Monitor output, labor, downtime, scrap, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement practical process improvements.
• Coordinate maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, material flow, and vendor relations.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and facility operations.
• Support budgeting, cost reduction, capacity planning, and improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership and other departments toward goals.
