Job summary

Caesars Entertainment’s Harrah's Hoosier Park in Anderson, IN, is seeking a full-time General Maintenance Worker. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems across the facility.

On-site position requiring routine inspection, troubleshooting, basic carpentry and welding, and upkeep of guest areas to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in English verbal and written.
• High school diploma or GED. One to three months related experience and/ or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude. Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment for guests.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Diagnoses problems by listening to unusual sounds and discussing operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers.
• Dismantles defective machines and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Performs basic carpentry and repairs structures as needed.
• Installs and repairs pipes, valves and plumbing fixtures.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• Performs basic electrical work on equipment and structures.
• Operates welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Maintains safety compliance per Safety Manual.
• Other duties as assigned.
