Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Maintenance Technician at the Scioto Downs campus in Columbus, OH. The role covers short- and long-term repair and maintenance across the Track, Paddocks, Parking Areas and Casino buildings.

You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, building maintenance, equipment upkeep, safety compliance, documentation, and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
Capability to lift heavy loads, climb ladders, and stand for long periods.
Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and update stakeholders on repair status

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
Repair systems like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
Fix, paint, or replace walls, doors, windows, flooring, and lighting fixtures.
Service machinery, tools, and appliances to ensure operation.
Maintain maintenance logs, complete work orders, and coordinate with contractors or reporting to supervisors.
Winter Snow Removal: operate snow removal equipment to clear parking areas.
