Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Elan LoSo in Charlotte, NC. This role performs technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas in top condition, with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, make-ready tasks for new residents, inventory materials, assist with grounds maintenance, and participate in safety trainings.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) are required for technicians.
• State and local certification requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Access materials and manage inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor of reorders.
• Document work performed for proper recording and tracking of service requests.
• Assist in grounds and common area maintenance and basic cleanup tasks.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Education

EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications

Valid driver’s license
