Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Woodland Hills, CA to join our service team. You will perform unit make-readies, preventive maintenance, and repairs to keep the community in excellent condition. You’ll also assist with janitorial duties and upkeep of common areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to solve problems and multi-task.
• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, general labor, or comparable experience.
• Experience with apartment maintenance technology and systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for occupancy by completing the make-ready process, inspections, and repairs.
• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records.
• Help maintain grounds, amenities, exteriors, and common areas.
• Adhere to safety measures to maintain a safe work environment.
