Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance and maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior common areas at an apartment community.

The role includes custodial duties, grounds work, make-ready assistance, and safe operation of equipment such as power washers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbers. Applicants should have at least 1 year of maintenance experience and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties around the property and maintain the common areas.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager.
• Thoroughly clean breezeways and power wash when needed.
• Assist in the preparation of make-ready units (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely including power washer, blowers, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaner.
• Assist in pool maintenance and basic pool care.
