Job summary

Guest Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repair work on mechanical, structural, and electrical systems at our Big Sur unit. You will work under the Maintenance Manager to inspect, diagnose, and fix issues, while ensuring safety and security of facilities.

The role requires a strong customer service mindset, basic tools proficiency, and the ability to communicate issues promptly to management.

Qualifications

• Partial high school education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively helps customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repair of mechanical, structural, and electrical systems as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Conduct scheduled inspections of buildings and equipment; address malfunctions and safety issues.
• Change lightbulbs, oil/grease gears and perform basic floor care where needed.
• Respond to emergencies and secure buildings; monitor safety and security systems.
• Assist with inventory and proper storage of maintenance supplies; keep facilities clean and safe.
