Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Big Sur. The role supports maintenance and repair of mechanical, structural, and electrical systems at assigned locations, following guidance from the Maintenance Manager.

Essential duties include inspections, equipment servicing, lighting and floor care, emergency response, securing facilities, inventory support, and maintaining safety standards while representing the company professionally with clients and guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of jumper system, drive system, sweep system, and electrical systems.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively helps customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize problems and communicate them to management.

Responsibilities

• Receive direction from the Maintenance Manager and assist in maintenance and repair of the unit’s operations.
• Conduct scheduled inspections of designated buildings and equipment; check and repair malfunctions.
• Change lightbulbs, oil/grease gears, and perform basic floor care for the Carousel.
• Respond to emergencies and safety issues; resolve facility needs promptly.
• Lock and secure all buildings; monitor and reset security systems as appropriate.
• Assist Manager with inventory/security of supplies for maintenance of units.
• Maintain a safe facility environment and notify management of safety or quality issues.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, guests, associates, and vendors.

Notify Manager of all unusual events, circumstances, or other safety or quality control issues.* Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
