Job summary

Princeton Management in Southfield, MI is seeking a maintenance technician to perform apartment maintenance, repairs, and turnover tasks across a diverse housing community. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting with emphasis on safety and resident service.

You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work independently or with a team. EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance and turnarounds.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Timely complete service requests in occupied apartments and turn vacant units.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks.
• Repair drywall, doors, trim, cabinets, and paint as needed.
• Maintain hallways, lighting, and grounds; remove ice/snow.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and overtime as needed.
• Report issues to management and ensure safety compliance.
