Barge Properties is seeking a dependable Maintenance Staff member in Texas to support daily maintenance operations and ensure our community remains safe and well maintained. This role involves hands-on work and coordinating preventive maintenance efforts.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of building systems, a proactive approach to maintenance, and the ability to handle resident service requests while keeping operations running smoothly. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing basics.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily maintenance operations and property upkeep.
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and complete workload.
• Maintain safety procedures and comply with codes and regulations.
• Help with unit turns and move-in readiness.
• Maintain maintenance logs and work orders in CMMS when applicable.
