Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician I to perform a variety of preventative maintenance duties, respond to emergencies, and ensure guest areas stay clean and safe. The role supports guest satisfaction through timely, quality upkeep and adherence to safety standards.

The position requires physical work, wear of standard uniform and PPE, and collaboration with team members to maintain facilities across the property.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of hand tools and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work well with guests and team members.
• Strong time management to deliver quality work within established parameters.
• Customer service skills to anticipate guest needs and respond to requests.
• Action oriented with ability to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Wear brand-standard uniform and PPE.
• Adhere to safety, guest safety, and chemical handling guidelines.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and clean rooms after work.
• Pick up trash around the property.
• Ensure maintenance equipment is functioning and maintained.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies.
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, and window trim.
• Clean guest laundry washers, dryers, vending machines, and common areas twice daily.
