OTO Development is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician I to perform a range of preventive maintenance duties and keep guest areas clean and safe. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities include basic tool use, safety adherence, and timely response to maintenance issues, with attention to guest satisfaction and quality workmanship across the property.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of hand tools and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work well with others in a guest and team-focused environment.
• Strong time management capabilities to complete quality work within parameters.
• Customer service skills; anticipate guest needs and respond to requests.
• Action oriented with ability to deliver desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Wear provided uniform and protective equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines for equipment, guest safety and chemical handling.
• Perform a wide variety of preventative maintenance duties.
• Inspect and clean rooms after work.
• Pick up trash throughout the property.
• Ensure maintenance equipment is functioning and maintained.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies.
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors and window trim as needed.
• Ensure guest laundry washers, dryers, vending machines, and common areas are cleaned twice daily.
