Job summary

Bryten is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor at Ekos at Arbor Park in Florida. You will lead the maintenance team, manage service requests, and oversee make-ready operations while ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance experience with supervisory responsibility, HVAC certification, and strong troubleshooting skills. On-site work and an on-call rotation are required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of building, facilities, apartment, or property maintenance experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• HVAC certification and/or trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or related fields are required.
• Ability to read diagrams, manuals, work orders, and safety documentation; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and support maintenance team with safety and customer service focus.
• Coordinate service requests, preventive maintenance, and repairs; ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee apartment make-ready operations and ensure vacant homes are ready for occupancy.
• Perform and supervise repairs: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, general building systems.
• Conduct inspections of apartments, common areas, and grounds; ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and management for operations and capital projects.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and work orders; document compliance.
• Support grounds and exterior maintenance; participate in on-call rotation.
• Respond to emergencies; ensure OSHA compliance and safety practices.
• Demonstrate a positive, welcoming community environment; other duties as assigned.
