Job summary

Student Quarters is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support the General Manager in delivering high-quality maintenance operations at a campus-area community. You will supervise a maintenance team, schedule tasks, and ensure compliance with safety standards while maintaining excellent resident service.

Your responsibilities include managing service requests, inspections, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with vendors to stay within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write in English for safety and productivity purposes.
• Must pass a background check and a Maintenance Supervisor Assessment.
• Must reside within 30 miles of the property.
• EPA Certification (Type I and II) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in managing an excellent customer service program.
• Lead maintenance team through recruitment, training, motivation, and development.
• Prioritize and assign service requests; monitor daily completion and follow up.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and amenities to ensure curb appeal and safety.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program to extend asset life and reduce repairs.
• Identify and implement energy-saving measures.
• Manage maintenance inventory within budget; supervise vendors.
