Job summary

Yugo is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor II for our on-site team to oversee property maintenance, safety, and turn-operations. You will lead a maintenance staff, manage service requests, and ensure high standards of resident services and curb appeal.

Responsibilities include supervising a team, coordinating preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits as part of Yugo’s growing student housing platform.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience required; experience in student housing/multifamily industry preferred.
• HVAC, EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property regularly to identify problems, maintenance needs, and ensure curb appeal.
• Assist the Property Manager in delivering excellent customer service to residents, clients, vendors, and employees.
• Prioritize, assign, and monitor service requests to ensure on-time completion and assist where needed.
• Lead, supervise, and train maintenance team members; provide performance feedback and growth opportunities.
• Maintain and implement a preventative maintenance program to extend asset life and reduce future repairs.
• Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities and ensure completion within budget.
• Maintain inventory and equipment; ensure proper storage and OSHA safety compliance.
• Schedule and direct workers for maintenance/repair activities related to turns; supervise vendors and contractors.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and conduct scheduled safety inspections.
