Job summary

Lyon Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Palmer, our property in San Juan Capistrano, CA. This role oversees safety, appearance and operations, directing maintenance staff and vendors to meet company standards.

Responsibilities include budget control, scheduling, prep for move-ins/outs, handling emergencies, and ensuring compliance with safety rules. On-site housing is provided; weekend, OT and on-call work required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in apartment maintenance
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of apartment maintenance incl. appliances, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall
• EPA HVAC certifications preferred
• Flexible schedule incl. weekends, OT, on-call
• Must speak/write English clearly

Responsibilities

• Supervise expenditures to obtain services at minimum cost while maintaining the property in good condition
• Maintain purchase order system and budget control
• Schedule and supervise service team and vendors to complete maintenance and grounds work
• Ensure daily property conditions meet standards
• Coordinate unit prep vendors and monitor move-in progress
• Coordinate and inspect move-out walkthroughs with staff and residents
• Handle emergency requests immediately
• Follow safety program rules and attend safety meetings
