Job summary

Associa seeks a Maintenance Technician for an on-site HOA community. Responsibilities include repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems, evaluating issues, and coordinating with management for supplies and reporting maintenance concerns.

The role aims to deliver a consistently elevated, hotel-like environment for residents and guests. Applicants should have 7–10 years of related experience, high school diploma or GED as required, and be comfortable supervising contractors

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) at a proficient level.
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms.
• Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
• Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).
• Knowledge of HVAC, including codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).
• Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
• Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
• Time management and time critical prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform or arrange for general building and fixture repairs.
• Supervise all general building maintenance.
• Supervise maintenance of landscaping and upkeep of grounds equipment.
• Keep the building in a clean and orderly condition by examining the building on a regular basis for needed repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Supervise outside contractors.
• Monitor high-traffic areas throughout the day to ensure consistent presentation.
• Light detailing, such as glass cleaning, dusting, and floor care.
• Supporting event setup and cleanup in amenity spaces as needed.
• Coordinating with management for supply inventory and reporting any maintenance concerns observed during routine cleaning.
• This role is essential in delivering a consistently elevated, hotel-like environment for residents and guests.
• Other duties as assigned.
