Job summary

Flora Food Group in New Century, Kansas, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a nine-person B-shift maintenance team on-site. You will drive reliability improvements, reduce downtime, and oversee preventive maintenance programs to keep production lines running smoothly.

You will perform root cause analysis, coordinate with production, and guide a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical systems; familiarity with PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens).
• Proven track record of improving equipment reliability via root cause analysis and proactive maintenance.
• Clear, effective communication across shifts and departments; results-driven and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance activities including preventive maintenance and urgent repairs to minimize downtime.
• Lead root cause analysis to identify and eliminate recurring equipment failures.
• Build and develop a skilled maintenance team through leadership and communication across shifts.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Track and report maintenance compliance and equipment reliability metrics to drive continuous improvement.
