Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance across our properties. You will perform routine and cosmetic maintenance, assist the maintenance supervisor, and help complete make-ready units in line with property goals.

Daily on-site presence, safety, and customer relations with residents are emphasized. You must be able to lift 100+ lbs, traverse grounds, and respond to work orders quickly. We offer a safety-first team environment and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required to operate on-site software.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks consistent with the property’s objectives under supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the community and minimize future repairs.
