Job summary

Collective is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead on-site maintenance, diagnose and repair building systems, and ensure high property performance. This role requires strong hands-on experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs with the ability to prioritize work orders and manage vendors.

This hands-on position focuses on preventative maintenance, responsive resident service, and keeping a property running at a high level.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance experience, preferably multifamily
• EPA certification preferred/required
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
• Lead apartment turns to meet move-in deadlines and quality standards
• Prioritize, complete, and close service requests efficiently
• Oversee preventative maintenance schedules and ensure execution
• Coordinate and manage third-party vendors as needed
• Maintain organized shop, inventory, and supply levels
• Ensure property interior/exterior is clean, safe, and high-quality
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and owners
• Support resident interactions to build brand loyalty
• Adhere to Fair Housing Laws
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule and after-hours emergencies
