Job summary

Real Estate Opportunity is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Columbus, OH to oversee daily maintenance and construction across a scattered-site portfolio. You will manage work orders in AppFolio, support technicians on the ground, coordinate with vendors, and uphold high safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in facilities or property maintenance, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction, property maintenance, or facilities management.
• Experience in a supervisory, team lead, or senior technician capacity.
• Strong multitasking and ability to thrive in a scattered-site environment.
• Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication with management, staff and vendors.
• Familiarity with property management software; AppFolio preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site liaison for maintenance and construction projects.
• Prioritize and dispatch daily operations and field escalations.
• Use AppFolio to assign and track work orders with accurate notes and labor hours.
• Monitor parts, tools and inventory; submit material orders as needed.
• Schedule external vendors and conduct on-site progress reviews and spot-checks.
• Supervise technicians and participate in onboarding and training.
