Selectemp is hiring a Machinist II for our Albany, OR facility. This on-site, day-shift role offers hands-on work with manual milling and lathe operations, precision measuring, and reading complex blueprints to produce parts to tight tolerances.

You will use SolidWorks and Mastercam to review 3D part files and support production workflows, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship. The position starts ASAP with pay $26.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of manual machining experience.
• Own set of machinist hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and Mastercam is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Execute non-standard, custom machine setups on conventional equipment.
• Operate manual milling machines and lathes to produce precision parts.
• Calculate feeds and speeds, select blades, and manage tooling.
• Inspect machined parts against blueprints using precision gauges.
• Review and manipulate 3D part files with SolidWorks; support production workflows using Mastercam.
• Perform basic quality checks and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
