ADP, Inc. in Newberg, OR is seeking a skilled Machinist capable of performing a range of machining operations including mills, lathes and grinders. You will ensure part quality through inspection and maintain productivity through careful scheduling and setup.

The role requires an AA degree or equivalent with 3–7 years of related experience, and the ability to work with CNC programs under supervision. This is a Regular Full-Time position in the Machining department with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and follow daily work schedules and verify revision levels.
  • Experience operating mills, lathes, surface grinders, and other machine tools.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance methods and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Read and follow daily work schedule and prioritize work.
  • Operate mills, lathes, and surface grinders to complete parts.
  • Perform mechanical inspection to verify parts meet specifications.
  • Handle setup of CNC machine tools with guidance from senior machinists.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machine shop tools.
  • Assist team members to meet production goals.
  • Communicate changes to CNC programs to the programmer.
