Ascentec Engineering is seeking experienced Machinists for on-site work at our Tualatin, Oregon headquarters. The role involves setting up and operating CNC mills (3-, 4-, and 5-axis), reading prints, and maintaining tight tolerances with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience with 3-axis to 5-axis CNC mills is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Load and unload parts for machining up to 40 pounds.
• Read and interpret manufacturing prints.
• CNC setup and operation; load programs and set/work offsets for Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls.
• Inspect machined parts following in-process and final inspection protocols.
• Maintain tolerances of +/- .0005" and ensure tool readiness and cleanliness.
