Job summary

GPC in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and adjust conventional and CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to tight tolerances for precision parts in a high-demand environment.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, perform maintenance, and work independently within a team to ensure high-quality parts for demanding applications.

Qualifications

• Strong manual machining experience.
• Conversational programming experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written instructions.
• Experience working with tight tolerances.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• CAD/CAM experience (preferred, not required).
• Experience operating a wide range of listed equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture new and replacement parts from blueprints and written instructions.
• Perform breakdown repair machining and create stock parts.
• Work to close tolerances in complex manufacturing applications.
• Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain safe and organized work practices.

Physical Requirements
