Avocet Hospitality Group is seeking a polished Sales and Marketing Coordinator for The Read House in Chattanooga. You will support the Sales and Catering teams, manage on-site social media, and help coordinate luxury events with attention to detail and branding consistency.

The role is full-time and on-site, with an hourly rate based on experience. Candidates should have a background in hospitality marketing and strong communications skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Two to four years of related experience is preferred.
• Experience in luxury, lifestyle, or independent hotels is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS and Delphi is preferred, along with reservation and POS applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales and Catering teams with day-to-day operations for groups and events.
• Create and manage on-site social media content for all property areas.
• Inspect guest rooms and event spaces for cleanliness and readiness.
• Organize, prepare, and distribute weekly BEOs and resume packets.
• Review group contracts for accurate rates, deposits, and cancellation terms.
