Job summary

Flexible IT, Long Island’s leading MSP, is seeking a proactive Low Voltage Technician to join our Hardware Services Team. You will travel to client sites to install and maintain structured cabling, access control, and IP surveillance systems, ensuring reliability and security for our clients.

You will read blueprints, work with data/voice/fiber, and collaborate with technicians to build MDF/IDF closets, racks, and panels.

Qualifications

• Experience with structured cabling and data/voice/fiber installation.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Clean driving record and willingness to travel to client sites.
• BICSI training and/or certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable installation including Data, Voice, Fiber, and Paging.
• Install and configure Access Control cabling, boards, readers, and devices.
• Install IP surveillance cameras and program DVRs; configure analytics.
• Build MDF/IDF closets and racks; read blueprints and schematics.
• Drive company vehicles and operate hand/power tools as needed.
